Drop-in Parent-Child Discovery Classes

Singing Circles with Mashell
Saturdays • 11:00 am - 11:20 am
Mashell leads new and familiar songs and fingerplays for little ones in our Multicultural Reading Tent in two back-to-back drop-in sessions. Mashell will sing farm favorites like Old McDonald and Bye Bye Black Sheep to complement our new Back to the Farm exhibit. Sing-alongs help build early literacy skills! Join Habitot's Mashell Ewing for will lead new and familiar songs and fingerplays for little ones in our Multicultural Reading Tent in two back-to-back drop-in sessions.
Mandarin Singing Circle with Lee Yee
Tuesday, March 23 • 11:00 am - 11:20 am
The singing circle is designed for children ages 2-3 and will incorporate music, storytelling, dance and movement in both English and Mandarin. The singing circle leader, LeeYee, will teach children basic Mandarin words for animals, fruits and vegetables, letters and numbers.
