Jiji la Watoto African Music
Tuesdays, 10:00 - 10:30 am

Join Annette and Catherine from "Jiji la watoto" to explore the sounds and songs of Africa through music, dance and play in our new Tuesday music class. Children will develop rhythmic awareness and practice creative motion through drumming, song and wordplay while playing percussion instruments from Africa. By listening and participating in movement and music, toddlers will improve their coordination and balance as well as their cognitive and social and emotional skills all while having fun!

Tot Art with a Twist!
Wednesdays, 10:00 - 10:30 am

Teacher Liz will lead Habitot’s popular Tot Art class that incorporates early math and science activities into hands-on, sensory art activities. Children will explore a variety of art materials and media—including clay, collage, recycled objects and painting—and practice counting, sorting, understanding volume and identifying patterns and shapes.

Move and Groove!
Thursdays, 10:00 - 10:30 am

Toddlers will sing, wiggle, twist, and whirl to songs and music on a weekly spring theme: butterflies, falling rain, animals coming out of hibernation, thunder and lightening! Through music, movement and instrument play, toddlers will explore the space around them and discover new ways to move and control their bodies. Toddlers will also learn the basic concepts of melody, rhythm, beat, tempo, rhyme and improvisation.

Let's Do Lunch!
Fridays, 10:00 - 10:30 am

For continuing cooks who enjoyed our Fall Breakfast Club class, learn to make simple soups, sandwiches, pasta, rice & bean dishes and more. Parents and children will learn how to make nutritious and easy recipes for lunch, while learning about kitchen chemistry, diet and nutrition.
