All week in the Art Studio, decorate eggs using ribbons, stickers and fun fabrics. Baskets of fresh grass will be on sale all week. Last week to Make-a-Plate (children’s drawing embedded on a plate) for mom/grandma in time for Mother’s Day in May (fee: $15). |
 
Thursday, April 22 • 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
In the Art Studio, work together to build a giant pretend city – skyscrapers, houses, parks and playgrounds – all from recycled materials donated by companies and factories. The city will be put on display in the window in the corridor! |
 
Saturday, April 24 • 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Loveee the Clown will entertain with bubbles, puppets, songs and more from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm. In the Art Studio, children and families will help decorate Habitot’s giant birthday cake with paint and sprinkles. All visitors will enjoy birthday stories in the Multicultural Reading Tent every hour from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. Sing happy birthday and enjoy cake and punch at 3:00 pm.
Habitot loves birthday presents! We welcome gifts of (new or gently used) toys for our Toy Lending Library, read-aloud books for the children’s Reading Tent or parenting books for the Family Resource Center, and donations of any amount for our ongoing programs and exhibits. Our friends at Bowzer’s Pizza (upstairs on Shattuck Ave.) will deliver child-sized cheese slices on sale for $1 each. Deliveries every 15 minutes as needed. Proceeds benefit the Museum. |
