Week of Valentines
February 9 - 14 • regular hours
Make valentines all week long in the Art Studio! A wide variety of creative materials will be available. FREE adult admission (or a free pass) will be given to anyone who brings arts & crafts supplies to share.
Celebrating Presidents' Day
Monday, February 16 • 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Extended hours and special activities in honor of Presidents' Day.
Black History Month Celebration
February 17 - 22 • regular hours
Four days of performances and events to celebrate the influence and culture of African Americans. Master storyteller, Muriel Johnson will tell African-American folktales from 11 am-12 pm on Saturday. Guy Gash’s Sharp Five Jazz Band will perform at 11:30 am on Sunday. Special daily activities honoring African-American culture include an exhibition of stories, poetry, and art and a scavenger hunt focused on African-American history. Throughout the week, families are invited to add special pieces to Habitot’s community quilt.
