Cocoa-Scented Gak

Kid made Melting Snowman

Materials

  • Plastic tray or baking sheet
  • Large bowl
  • 8 oz clear washable school glue
  • 8-12 oz Sta Flo liquid starch
  • 3 Tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 tsp of brown food coloring or liquid watercolor

Directions
  1. Pour the glue into the bowl.
  2. Stir in cocoa powder and brown coloring until completely mixed.
  3. Add 8 oz of liquid starch and stir until combined.
  4. Add up to 4 more ounces of liquid starch until the slime no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl and instead begins clumping in the center of the bowl or on your spoon.
  5. Knead the gak by hand. If it sticks to your hands, add a little bit more starch.
  6. It's fun to stretch the gak over the rim of the bowl and watch what happens!
  7. Please supervise children who still put things in their mouths.
