No on Prob 1DVote Button

Proposition 1D on the May 19 special election ballot, if approved by voters, will deal a devastating and perhaps fatal blow to hundreds of innovative nonprofit programs across the state that are directly benefiting young children, ages 0-5.

Habitot's First 5 funding will disappear if Prop 1D passes. This major grant funds all of our free parent and caregiver support groups, teen parent programs and special times for special families - these are some of the new parents most in need of a place like Habitot!

Another way you can help Habitot is to vote NO on Prop 1D on May 19.

Our new “Crowding Hotline” (510-647-1111 x 35) lets members and visitors know whether to visit now or later. New “sanitation stations” are well-marked throughout the museum and the snack room now has a do-it-yourself cleaning supply shelf. These are all ideas that were generated by our spring focus groups for improving Habitot.
