The Land of Make-Believe
Tuesdays, 10:00 - 10:30 am

Jiji la Watoto class
Using interactive storytelling, themes and different books each week, teacher Elise will “set the stage” for journeys to the circus, into outer-space, into the land of fairytales and other settings where children can take on the roles of characters in memorable scenes. Children will be encouraged to use their bodies and voices in guided as well as spontaneous dramatic play with no pressure to perform.

Tot Art with a Twist!
Wednesdays, 10:00 - 10:30 am
Tot Art with a Twist

Teacher Rachel will lead Habitot’s popular Tot Art class that incorporates early math and science skills into hands-on, sensory art activities. Children will explore their unique creativity and self-expression through a variety of art materials and media – including clay, collage, recycled objects, painting and “messy play.”

Let’s Do Lunch!
Thursdays, 10:00 - 10:30 am
Breakfast Club

In this hands-on cooking class with Teacher Samantha, children will learn how to make nutritious and easy recipes for lunch, while learning about kitchen chemistry, diet and nutrition. Recipes will include simple soups, sandwiches, pasta, rice & bean dishes and more, and children get to eat their creations at the end of every class!

Spanish Music with Mariela
Fridays, 10:00 - 10:30 am
Mariela Herrera

Join experienced Spanish-English singer Mariela Herrera in a bi-lingual music and storytelling experience that will help children learn two languages while singing songs and playing games. Toddlers will move to a Latin beat, sing along in Spanish and English and play drums, bells, maracas, rhythm sticks and more!
