Stained Glass Fall Leaves

Stained Glass Fall Leaves

Alttag here

• Tissue paper in fall colors
• 2 sheets clear Con-Tact paper

• Scissors (child friendly)
• Hole puncher
• Ribbon

1. Cut a small sheet of Con-Tact paper and help your child to peel away the backing
and place sticky side facing upward on a table.

2. Have your child tear up small pieces of the different colored tissue paper
and place into a small bowl.

3. Scatter tissue paper pieces onto the sticky contact paper, covering it fully but
    without piling up the pieces.

4. Peel another Con-Tact sheet and place it directly on top of tissue pieces (adult) -
sandwiching them between the two clear sheets.

5. Smooth the Con-Tact paper out with your hands.

6. Help your child to cut out leaf-like shapes using child scissors.

7. If you would like to hang the leaves in a window, use a hole puncher to make
a hole and string ribbon or yarn through creating a loop.
