Celebrate the Day of the Dead at Habitot Children's Museum on Thursday, November 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Back by popular demand, Enrique Martinez will demonstrate the art of papel picado from 10 a.m. to noon. Children can make their own papel picado and paper marigolds in the Art Studio throughout the day. From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. children can decorate sugar skulls, a traditional craft in Dia de los Muertos celebrations. From 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., Rafael Manriquez will perform Mexican folk music. Enjoy Mexican treats at 2:45 p.m. This FREE Admission Day is generously sponsored by the Mechanics Bank.
