Train Week at Habitot Children's Museum
event image

(Berkeley, CA) December 4 - 8
Calling all conductors! Be the first to run trains at our new train table, ride on a miniature train, and play with miniature BART trains. Create a boxcar train (bring a large box, or purchase one at Habitot), and create artwork with railroad track impressions. Watch our mini-train exhibit and listen to train tales.

Visit for a chance to win a train ride along Capitol Corridor - a fun and convenient way to travel between the Sierra Foothills, Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area, and San Jose! Plus, receive an exclusive free companion fare coupon with any Habitot store purchase. Giveaways and information to other local train destinations will be featured throughout the week.

--Free Admission on December 8 generously sponsored by BNP Paribas

About Habitot:
Habitot Children's Museum is the East Bay's award-winning hands-on discovery museum for young children. Its mission is to nurture and enrich the lives of young children, their families, and the adults who care for them by providing an environment for early childhood learning and exploration, parenting education and community outreach. Habitot ensures its accessibility for all Bay Area families through its Family Outreach Program that brings more than 10,000 low-income and at-risk children into the museum every year through scholarships, subsidized memberships and free admissions days.

More than 600,000 people have enjoyed the museum's interactive exhibits, art programs and classes since its opening in 1998. Not just a place to entertain young children, Habitot provides resources and support for early childhood learning, parenting success, and community connection.
