event image

(Berkeley, CA) December 26, 27, 28 & 31
Play, learn, and celebrate winter at Camp Habitot - the camp just for preschoolers! Children, 3-5 years old, get ready to make snow, create ice balloons, build sugar snow castles, bake gingerbread cookies, build igloos and dance like snowflakes in a winter wonderland paradise!

Each weekday morning after Christmas, parents can drop their children off at Habitot's classroom annex for fun and interactive learning activities. An experienced Habitot instructor will lead children in exploring winter-themed art, science, music, movement and cooking activities with daily snack provided - something different every day! Program begins December 26 and runs through December 31 from 9:30 a.m. - noon each day. Registration starts on Tuesday, November 27. Camp fees are $30.00 per day or $110 for all four days. Register for one day or all four! Drop-off and pick-up service is also available. For more information, inquire at the time of registration.

About Habitot:
Habitot Children's Museum is the East Bay's award-winning hands-on discovery museum for young children. Its mission is to nurture and enrich the lives of young children, their families, and the adults who care for them by providing an environment for early childhood learning and exploration, parenting education and community outreach. Habitot ensures its accessibility for all Bay Area families through its Family Outreach Program that brings more than 10,000 low-income and at-risk children into the museum every year through scholarships, subsidized memberships and free admissions days.

More than 600,000 people have enjoyed the museum's interactive exhibits, art programs and classes since its opening in 1998. Not just a place to entertain young children, Habitot provides resources and support for early childhood learning, parenting success, and community connection.
