(Berkeley, CA) December, 2007—
Thursdays in January, 5:00-7:00pm - Enjoy free family evenings at Habitot, generously sponsored by Union Bank of California. Engage in a different family art project each week in the Art Studio and selected family books featured in our multicultural reading tent. Bring the family to experience Habitot's hands on exhibits and indoor play areas, made especially for infants, toddlers and young children. The museum's six small-scale theme exhibits create an engaging learning, discovery and play space.

About Union Bank:
Union Bank of California proactively invests in the communities in which the Bank and its businesses operate, targeting resources to benefit low-to-moderate income populations.

About Habitot:
Habitot Children's Museum is the East Bay's award-winning hands-on discovery museum for young children. Its mission is to nurture and enrich the lives of young children, their families, and the adults who care for them by providing an environment for early childhood learning and exploration, parenting education and community outreach. Habitot ensures its accessibility for all Bay Area families through its Family Outreach Program that brings more than 10,000 low-income and at-risk children into the museum every year through scholarships, subsidized memberships and free admissions days.

More than 600,000 people have enjoyed the museum's interactive exhibits, art programs and classes since its opening in 1998. Not just a place to entertain young children, Habitot provides resources and support for early childhood learning, parenting success, and community connection.
