Let's Go Vote Day! At Habitot Children's Museum
event image

(Berkeley, CA) November 4, 2008—
Republican or Democrat?  Red or blue? How about green or purple? Preschool-aged children will learn about the voting process by voting for a favorite color at Habitot's "Let's Go Vote Day!"  On Tuesday, November 4th from 9:30 – 12:30 PM, children at Habitot can make their choice in a mini-voting booth equipped with ballots ready to be stamped and counted. And there's more:  we invite families to create their own paper Lincoln hats and 'stars-and-stripes' necklaces in our Art Studio. Also, you won't want to miss the patriotic storytelling from 11:00 – 12:00 pm.  This FREE admission day, kindly sponsored by Wells Fargo, is a great way to get kids excited about voting and democracy.
