event image

(Berkeley, CA) December 1-7, 2008—
Tots love trains, and Habitot's annual Train Week December 1-7th will thrill all aspiring engineers and conductors, ages 1-6! Ride small-scale locomotives on pretend tracks throughout the museum, and join train-themed games such as Musical Train-cars, Conductor Says, Find the Train and Freight Car Bean-bag Toss. Throughout the week, visitors can help decorate a giant train sculpture, make their own conductor's hats, create railroad-track-patterned pictures, and paint with wheels in our Art Studio. Train stories will be read daily from 9:30 – 10:30am. Door prizes announced every day at 12:00 noon. Regular Admission rates apply (Children $8, Adults $7).
