Habitot Children's Museum celebrates the Year of the Ox at its annual Lunar New Year event on Sunday, January 25, from 9:30am – 4:30pm. The celebration is the longest and most important celebration in the Chinese calendar. Habitot's event will feature a concert of traditional Chinese music led by Wa Mandy Cheung from 11:00 – 11:45 and dragon parades for children ages 0-6 at 12:00pm, 1:30pm, and 2:30pm. In the Art Studio, children will enjoy creating New Years' cards with bamboo calligraphy brushes and colorful inks and bright paper lanterns. Chinese storytelling at 10:00am, 12:30pm and 3:00pm.
