Calling All Volunteers - Board Membership Expanding
Volunteers build strong programs at Habitot, and help us conserve cash in tight times. It is especially critical for us to find those with time and expertise (grandparents, professional colleagues?) who want to “give back” to a successful nonprofit organization and who would consider joining Habitot’s Board of Directors.
Americorps Completes Volunteer Recruitment Plan
Americorps Volunteer, Matejka Handley, worked full-time from mid-August to mid-December to complete Habitot's first formal volunteer recruitment plan. A volunteer needs assessment, job descriptions, announcement postings, a new brochure, database layout and an orientation plan have all been developed and put into place.
Funding is being sought to hire a volunteer coordinator to make the program operational. Volunteers support programs and help us conserve cash in tight times.
To read more about our volunteer needs, request a brochure at 510-647-1111 x15 or email habitotvol@gmail.com.
Volunteer Positions
