Habitot Children's Museum is located in Downtown Berkeley with entrances on Kittredge Street and Shattuck Avenue. There is a lift for strollers/wheelchairs at the Kittredge entrance and stairs down to the Museum at both entrances. There is an elevator entrance on Allston Way. The Museum is within one block of the Downtown Berkeley BART station and stops for the 7, 18, 51, 25, 52, 65, 67 and many other AC Transit bus lines.

What Visitors Should Know About
Visiting Habitot During Flu Season
Habitot is generally not crowded during fair weather months, April-September. The least busy times year-round are 9:30-10:30 am and 12:30-3:00 pm. Group field trips are never scheduled on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Habitot is often crowded on rainy, cold, or wet days and open holidays and Free Admission Days.
