Contemporary Art Show

Celebrating Young Artists

The artistic impulse is present at birth. When given time and materials and proper encouragement, toddlers and preschoolers can create truly wonderful works of art. Everyday, hundreds of young children visit Habitot's drop-in Art Studio, one of a dozen exploration exhibits in the museum. The Studio is a messy, colorful, active, sensory and exciting place where art happens!

Annually we produce a Contemporary Art Show of works done throughout the year by children younger than 7. If you are interested in hosting a future Art Show—please contact us at habitot@lmi.net.
