Great STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities with some art thrown in for extra STEAM! More information.

Bastille Day
9:30 am–12:30 pm
Vive la France! Celebrate Bastille Day by tasting French bread and cheese and planning your escape from the Bastille prison. Make and decorate a French chapeau using recycled newspaper and fun fabrics in the Art Studio. Order from a French menu in the Cafe exhibit and help participate in an interactive telling of the story Stone Soup.

FREE Car Seat Inspection
Trained technicians will install and/or inspect your car seat. Offered with support from retired police officer, Bob Rollins, and the City of Alameda Police Department. Did you know that 90% are installed incorrectly and children are at risk? Participants will receive a guest pass for Habitot admission.
