Helping Prevent Injuries and Accidents
Habitot’s Early Childhood Safety Campaign seeks to
address the high number of unintentional accidents among very
young children -- “the biggest threat to the life and
health of children one to six years old”, according
to the American Academy of Pediatrics.
We are grateful to State Farm Insurance Companies for sponsoring Habitot's Early Childhood Safety Campaign for the past 10 years. We are seeking a new sponsor for the 2012 Campaign - please contact us if you or your company is interested develp@habitot.org.

Lorraine Rosenblatt from the Berkeley Public Health Department's Lead Poisoning Prevention Program will be on hand 10 am - 12 pm to discuss how to identify lead hazards and what to do about them as well as the dangers of lead poisoning.
