Giant Gingerbread House Decorating Party
Coming to Berkeley on December 20th

(Berkeley, CA) December 20, 2014

Come to Habitot Childrenís Museum from 9:30am - 4:30pm on Saturday December 20, 2012 for a Giant Gingerbread House Party. Families will work together to decorate an enormous gingerbread house with sweets provided by Habitot, such as cookies, candies, and sprinkles. After the event, the festive gingerbread house will be donated to a local homeless shelter for families and children to enjoy.

Visitors can get ready for the big Gingerbread House Party by taking part in Habitotís Gingerbread House Workshops, starting on December 5th, and ending on the 13th. Families will build and decorate their own individual take-home gingerbread house. Workshops cost $25 for members, and $35 for non-members. These prices include admission for one child and one adult. About Habitot Children's Museum

Since opening 16 years ago in 1998, Habitot has welcomed over 1,050,000 visitors, filling a niche for new parents and caregivers who seek safe and enriching experiences for young children, with parenting support, a toy lending library, affordable music and art classes, immersive learning exhibits, and a drop-in Art Studio.

Habitot Children's Museum was founded in 1992 to meet the unique needs of infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Habitotís mission is to help the broad community of parents and caregivers raise curious, creative and confident children with dedicated programs for children with special needs, teen parents, formerly incarcerated mothers, and homeless families. Hands-on exhibits and programs focus exclusively on early childhood, ages 0-5.
