All nominated teachers receive a prize certificate and ten winning teacher finalists receive classroom supplies from Discount School Supplies, a free class field trip to Habitot Children’s Museum, an Association of Children’s Museum’s membership, a Folkmanis puppet for storytelling, media recognition and more valuable resources.
A past award winner at last year’s ceremony shared, “Preschool teachers are rarely, if ever, recognized outside of our schools in this field. It means so much that Habitot not only created an award, but also plans a wonderful ceremony for us.”
