Our MakerMobile is on the road! Generous donors and a grant from the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS) have made it possible for Habitot to bring STEM, art, and making activities directly to communities throughout the East Bay!

Opportunities for hands-on discovery, making friends, and reconnecting with the larger community will contribute to post-pandemic recovery. Enriching and collaborative activities will also help restore the losses in learning and social skills experienced by many children since March 2020.

Our MakerMobile brings free and low-cost events for children and families to libraries, parks, schools, hospitals, and community centers where families are less likely to have the transportation, time, and money to visit museums.

Habitot’s looking forward to Making with the inspired inventors of tomorrow!

A History of Making
